While specific qualifications are not existing, a background in childcare, relevant certifications, and a genuine passion for working with children are typically preferred.

We prioritize safety. All applicants undergo thorough background checks, interviews, and, in some cases, training sessions to ensure the well-being of the children our babysitters are taking care of.

Initially, as a "Classic" babysitter, you'll receive €15 per hour. However, with loyalty and accumulating a certain number of booked hours through our platform, this can increase to €17 an hour. We're also excited to announce that in our upcoming version, we'll introduce a "Premium" category, where babysitters can earn €20 an hour. Those who collaborate with us during our testing phase will be prioritized for this premium status once it's launched.

You have the flexibility to choose the payment method yourself: cash or via PayPal. If you opt for PayPal, you can choose to receive payments either at once at the end of each week or on a monthly basis via transfer to your PayPal / bank account. Cash payments, however, will be paid directly by the parents to the babysitter after each babysitting job.

Yes, FairySitter offers flexibility. While you'll be matched with jobs based on your availability, you have the autonomy to set and adjust your working hours.

We understand emergencies happen. If you must cancel, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make alternative arrangements for the family.

All coordination and communication with parents are handled by FairySitter to ensure a seamless experience.

Babysitters are responsible for their own transportation to and from the job location. Ensure you can reliably reach the job site when accepting a booking.
